T. G. Lighted: The Entertainer
Singing since the age of five as "Little Dubi", TG Lighted received his first recording contract offer at the age of nine. One of his first professional performances was opening for James Brown.
As an adult he was honored as recipient of the 2015 "Best R&B Artist in the Bay Area".
A founding member and lead singer of the Bay Area Singing group "The Best Intentions", T.G. Lighted has performed throughout the years with music groups such as the renowned Legends of Motown, Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra, Melllaa, and
The Delfonics, to name a few.
As a solo artist, T.G.Lighted's repertoire includes a collaboration of self-penned song lyrics and original music tracks, as well as the silky smooth vibes of Eddie Kendricks, Frankie Beverly, Smokey Robinson, Al Green, and Marvin Gaye; and wows audiences with his Ultimate Tribute to Stevie Wonder which delights even the most dedicated Stevie Wonder fan!
Whichever line-up you catch, when Mr. T.G. Lighted takes the stage your heart and soul will be enlightened and delighted by the sounds of his golden voice.
THE NAME:
As an adult the name "TG Lighted" was gleaned from a recurring dream I'd have of a man who would encounter multiple horrific and catastrophic experiences which would cause him to die, and which seemed impossible to come back from. However, he would always reappear alive and well and speak words of inspiration to me.
After the reoccurrence of these dreams over the course of many years, in one dream, the man asked me why would I doubt that God would bring me back to life when I'd already been brought into a world I didn't even know existed.
In the last dream, the man walked up a stairway onto a stage, the lights came on, and the announcer introduced him:
"Ladies & Gentlemen, TG Lighted"
I never had that dream again, and I then knew that I was to be bold and confident that despite life situations which seemed would kill me, discouraging me with a sense of hopelessness, nothing could destroy me and the gift I'd been given,
The final message was that I can walk in the light, lit with the light of love and truth, not allowing any of life's circumstances to keep me from sharing my gift--giving life and love through music.

TG Lighted Entertainment (TGLE) is the brain child of TG Lighted and family members.
Having worked in the music industry for more than 50 years, TG recognizes the universal healing of music, and believes that being an impactful entertainer involves more than just musical skills and talents. The most effective and impactful performers achieve and maintain a strong and healthy balance of body, mind, and soul which brings life and love through their music.
The vision of TGLE is to create and promote musical entertainment which leaves both performers and their audiences feeling lively and loving, inspired to face the challenges of daily life, and have a positive and healing impact upon the world.
The unique approach of TGLE provides not only vocal and performance coaching from professional musicians, but as importantly, attention to performers’ emotional and personal well-being. Counseling services by a licensed clinician are offered to promote clearing of emotional and mental blockages, therefore tapping into and releasing the full, authentic, soulful, and powerful energies which propel gifted individuals to soar!
